Good Afternoon Sixth and Seventh Grade Families,

Tomorrow, in your child's social studies class, they will get information about an opportunity that SUNY Broome is offering to a limited number of our students, called Hornet Academy. We wanted to make you aware of this opportunity as well so you can encourage your child to pick up the permission slip in the guidance office. Hornet Academy is a career exploration program with fun, hands-on activities to expose students to different career fields and programs at SUNY Broome. The program occurs over the course of four Saturdays and transportation will be provided from the Middle School to SUNY Broome and back. We have been given 6 spots for this first session, so the first 6 permission slips that are handed in will be able to attend. Please note that if you are signing up for the first session, you are committing to all four Saturday sessions.
