Good morning CV Middle School Families,
Today is Monday, September 30th – Day #6
As we begin the fourth week of school, I wanted to take a moment to update you on our journey so far. The students have been settling in wonderfully, and it's been amazing to see their enthusiasm and growth each day.
Our theme for this week is open-mindedness, an important trait that we are encouraging in the classroom. We're exploring how being open to new ideas, trying different approaches, and considering other perspectives can help foster creativity, respect, and deeper understanding in our learning community.
You can support this at home by discussing the importance of being open-minded, whether it’s trying a new hobby, listening to a different opinion, or simply embracing the unknown with curiosity.
Thank you for your continued support as we help your children grow into thoughtful, kind, and open-minded learners.
P2 – Theme of the Week – Open-Mindedness
Strengths of wisdom and knowledge are cognitive strengths related to the acquisition and use of information. Strengths in this virtue are creativity, curiosity, open-mindedness, love of learning and perspective.
