Registration is done in person, by appointment at the Chenango Valley Middle School/High School building located at the above address.  

For any information or to schedule an appointment, please call (607) 762-6821 or email [email protected]. Appointments are scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., but earlier or later appointments can be made with notice.

All visitors must bring a photo ID.

Registration FAQ's

What documents are required to enroll a new student in the Chenango Valley School District?
  • Student's Original Birth Certificate  
  • Two Proofs of Residency
  • Guardian Photo Identification
  • Immunization Records
  • Custody Papers (if applicable)

What documents are acceptable proofs of residency?

  • Lease (needs to be notarized)  
  • Recent Utility Bill (heat, electric, phone, cable, water, garbage)  
  • Mortgage Papers  
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Registration
  • Valid Driver's License

Can I make an appointment to register my child?

Absolutely! Please call (607) 762-6821. With notice, we can also accommodate appointments outside of our regular hours if it is necessary for you.
 
What do I do if I move to another address within the Chenango Valley School District?
 
You will need to show two proofs of residency for the new address as well. The same list of acceptable proofs of residency will apply. You will not need to fill out a whole new registration form, just the change of address form listed on this webpage.  The proofs can be submitted by:
  • emailing them to [email protected]  
  • stopping by the security office at any building and asking for copies to be made and sent to Registration
  • mailing them to us at 221 Chenango Bridge Road, Binghamton, NY 13901 Attn:  Registration
