Transportation is provided to and from school for Pre-K students who are 4 years old and older.
For children under age 4, the district provides one-way transportation:
- Morning Pre-K: Families drop off their child at school. The district van brings them home using a school-provided car seat.
- Full-Day Pre-K: The district van picks up your child using a school-provided car seat, and families pick up their child at school.
New York State law requires that children under 4 years old ride in a car seat. The school provides one when needed.
For all Pre-K students 4 years and older, children must wear a seat belt on the bus.

Pre-K Bus Rules:
- Children should wear their bus tags daily.
- A parent, caregiver, or childcare provider must meet the bus every day. Children cannot be left unattended.
- Pre-K students sit in the front of the bus and must wear seat belts at all times.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Changes:
If your family needs to change a pick-up or drop-off location:
- Complete the Transportation Form (also available in school main office).
- Submit the form to the Transportation Department at least five (5) school days before the change begins.

The transportation department will notify families once the change is approved.
