Attendance

One of the most important things your child can do to achieve academic success is also one of the most basic: attending school every day (with the exception of illnesses). In fact, research has shown that your child's attendance record may be the biggest factor influencing their academic success.

Port Dickinson Elementary Start Time: 8:40 a.m. Dismissal: 3:15 p.m. (Dismissal process begins at 3:05 p.m. for pick-ups, followed by buses upon arrival.) Absences

Parent/guardian must call the school attendance office (see phone numbers above) to notify that a student will be absent.

A written excuse from the parent/guardian is required upon student's return to school.

Late Arrivals

Students arriving late with a legal reason must provide a note from parent/guardian, or the parent/guardian must call the attendance office.
