CV Middle School Update (12-9-2024)

Today is Monday, December 9th – Day #2

Good morning, Warriors,

I hope this email finds you well! As we approach the midway point of the marking period, I’d like to share some important updates and reminders.

  1. 5-Week Marking Period Ends Friday, December 13th
    Please encourage your child to stay on top of their assignments as we near this milestone. Caregivers are encouraged to log into SchoolTool to review your child’s completed assignments. Alternatively, you can visit the Middle School Homework Hotline, located on the Middle School section of the district website on the right-hand side under my picture, for a current list of assignments.
  2. P2 Theme of the Week: Supporting Others When They Struggle
     This week, our students are focusing on the importance of being there for others during challenging times. We encourage you to discuss this theme at home and help reinforce the value of empathy and kindness.
  3. Middle School Winter Concert – Thursday, December 12th at 6:30 PM
     Mark your calendars! We’re excited to showcase the hard work and talent of our students at the Winter Concert. Please join us in celebrating their achievements in the Chenango Valley Middle School auditorium.

Message from Physical Education Department:
 The middle school will start having makeups tenth period for students who are absent or unprepared for swim class or regular PE class. Monday’s will be makeups in the gym for regular PE classes and Thursday’s will be swim make ups in the pool.

  • Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd – School Closed - Winter Recess
