Immunization Requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE: Effective immediately, starting June 13, 2019, New York State lawmakers have signed legislation removing non-medical exemptions from school vaccination requirements for children. This includes anyone who has previously had religious exemptions from vaccinations.*Students who currently have non-medical exemptions from school vaccination requirements will be contacted by their school principal with further information. Please contact your school building with any questions and/or concerns.

Important Message Regarding Nut Allergies

There are students in the Chenango Valley schools who have severe allergies to nuts, peanuts, and peanut products. The allergies can be life-threatening, and strict avoidance is the only way to prevent an allergic reaction. In an effort to provide a safe learning environment for these students, we ask that you do not send in any foods which contain nuts, peanuts, and/or peanut butter for your child to snack on during the school day. Peanut/nut products may be in your child’s lunch, but they must be eaten in the designated dining space and not in the classroom, hallway, school bus, sporting events, or field trips. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
