DASA

Dignity for All Students Act

All children have the right to attend school in a safe, welcoming, and caring environment. DASA specifically ensures this for New York State public school students.  New York State has recently revised the requirements and regulations related to DASA.  We will be working to update all of our information, so please check back for updates.

New York's Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) seeks to provide all public school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.

If you or your child have experienced bullying at Chenango Valley, use the link to the "
Report Bullying" form located on this webpage to report the bullying behavior. The form may be submitted online or printed and sent to the appropriate DASA Coordinator listed on this webpage.
