Family Resources & Community Support

The Chenango Valley Central School District provides a variety of resources to support our students and families. From food and clothing assistance to emotional wellness and internet support, our goal is to connect families with the help they need.

All assistance is confidential.

Support for Chenango Valley Families

Chenango Valley partners with local organizations and community programs to ensure families have access to essential supports and resources.

Family Essentials & Food Support

  - CV Community Schools: Connects students and families with school-based and community support programs.
  - CV Warrior Fund: Financial help for CV students and families in need.
  - CV Warrior Food Center: Provides food and household items to CV families.
  - CV Warrior Clothing Closet: Offers free clothing and accessories for CV students and families.
  - BackPack Program: Weekend food support for students through the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Social-Emotional & Mental Health Support

Grief Support
- Resources to help families support children and teens coping with grief and loss.

How to Apply for SNAP Benefits

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides monthly grocery benefits to help families buy food. Many working families qualify. Applying is quick and confidential.

Families enrolled in CEP can qualify for discounted internet service.
