As a reminder, Chenango Valley will have a two-hour delay on Friday, October 25, for professional development. Below are important details about affected programs and changes to bus schedules. Another reminder will be sent next week.
Programs and Schedules Impacted by CV Two-Hour Delay Schedule:
- All Chenango Valley schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule for students only.
- Faculty and staff will report as usual.
- AM Bus Schedules for CV Students:
- Morning Pick-Up - Buses will pick CV students up two hours later than usual.
- No AM-ONLY Pre-K Classes at Port Dickinson Elementary.
- Full-day Pre-K classes will follow the two-hour delay schedule and dismiss at their normal time.
- AM-ONLY BOCES CTE Classes:
- Students can attend if driven to BOCES by parents or caregivers.
- A school bus will be available midday to bring students back to Chenango Valley High School.
- Students requiring a school bus in the morning will not attend AM BOCES CTE classes.
- These students will arrive at CV High School on the two-hour delay schedule and will be supervised until their sixth-period classes begin.
Programs and Schedules Not Impacted by CV Two-Hour Delay Schedule:
- PM Bus Schedules for CV Students:
- Afternoon Drop-Off - No changes to the afternoon drop-off schedule.
- Morning Fun Club at Chenango Bridge will begin at the usual time and be extended until the school day starts.
- Afternoon Fun Club at Port Dickinson will follow its normal schedule.
- PM-ONLY BOCES CTE Classes will follow their normal schedule.
- Out-of-District BOCES Programs will run on a normal schedule.
- This includes East and West Learning Centers, center-based special education programs, and district special education programs (such as Oak Tree and PALS).
- Parochial schools will follow normal busing schedules.

Additional Information from CV High School (10-21-2024):
- AM BOCES students: The bus will NOT bring the morning BOCES students to their program. If you’d like your child to attend the program that day, you may transport them to the BOCES campus or they may drive themselves.
- Students who attend the BOCES Evertech program who ride from the high school: We will NOT be transporting the Evertech students from the high school on Friday. You may transport them to Evertech if you’d like them to attend.
