Dear Chenango Valley School Community,

We’re reaching out to share key schedule reminders for November. A voice message with this information will also be sent to students’ primary contacts this evening.

• Veterans Day: The district will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Students will not have school on this day, and all CV offices will be closed. We extend our gratitude to all veterans for their service and are honoring them with special assemblies and activities throughout the week.

• Elementary Parent/Caregiver-Teacher Conferences: Conferences for Port Dickinson and Chenango Bridge Elementary ONLY will be held on Thursday, November 14, and Friday, November 15. On these days, student dismissal for pickups and walkers at the elementary schools will begin at 12:05 p.m., with buses departing as they arrive. Please ensure you have a plan in place for your child on both Thursday and Friday.

• Thanksgiving Break: The final school day before Thanksgiving Recess will be Tuesday, November 26, which will be a full day of school. The break begins on Wednesday, November 27, and classes will resume on Monday, December 2.
