Senior Graduation Information 2023

Friday, June 23, 2033 Update:

Hello Class of 2023 Families,
 
We have made the decision to move this evening's graduation ceremony indoors to the CV High School gymnasium due to the weather forecast.
 
The six tickets for each graduate were provided to seniors at this morning's rehearsal. The CV High School gymnasium doors, which will be the only entrance for the event, will open at 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
 
Floor seating will be available for those who are not able to climb the bleacher stairs.
 
Family members who wish to be on-site and exceed the gymnasium guest limit can watch the ceremony via livestream in the high school auditorium.
 
The ceremony will also be streamed online for those who would like to watch from home. https://cvcsd-stier-org.zoom.us/j/91401385116

Important Senior Graduation Ceremony Information
 
Dear Families of CV High School Class of 2023 Seniors,
 
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some important information regarding the senior graduation ceremony on Friday, June 23, at 7:00 p.m.
 
If the weather is okay: We will hold the graduation ceremony in the Warrior Stadium on the Chenango Valley High School campus as planned.
 
If we can't hold the ceremony outdoors due to the weather:
  • If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony will still be held on Friday, June 23, at 7:00 p.m. The event will move indoors to the CV High School gymnasium to ensure the safety and comfort of our graduates, families, and guests.
  • Due to the limited capacity of the gymnasium, we must reduce the number of attendees for each graduating senior if the event is held indoors. Each graduate will receive six (6) tickets during the morning graduation rehearsal. You must present a ticket to attend the ceremony in the gymnasium.
  • There will also be an "overflow" area in the CV High School auditorium for family members who want to be with their graduates afterward but exceed the gymnasium guest limit. A livestream of the ceremony will be displayed in the auditorium.
 
I will announce a decision by 2 p.m. on Friday, June 23. I will email the decision to families, and it will also be posted on the district website.
 
Regardless of the weather, we will have a livestream available so that family members from near and far can watch virtually. You can tune in as the ceremony begins on Friday, June 23, at 7:00 p.m.: https://cvcsd-stier-org.zoom.us/j/91401385116
