Good afternoon, CVHS families,

I know we still have the rest of the week off and I hope everyone had a great holiday.
When we return on January 6th, we will continue with the 2nd quarter—the semester ends at the end of January!
The P2 trait for the week of Jan 6th is Optimism.  I’m optimistic that we will continue to have a great school year!

  • January 15th: BOE mtg 7 p.m.
  • January 18th: Junior Dinner Dance (details below)
  • January 20th: No school
  • January 21st-24th: Regents Exams
  • January 23rd: Civil War Fair (details below)
  • January 24th: ½ day (11:20 dismissal)
  • January 27th: start of Q3

The junior dinner dance will be held on January 18th from 6:30-10:30 at the SUNY Broome Culinary Events Center.  Thanks to a generous donation, the JDD will be FREE for all that attend!  Students can RSVP from January 6-10 during lunch.

Mr. Page and Mr. Jones’s 11th grade classes will be hosting a “Civil War Fair” on Jan 23rd.  11th grade students that choose to present their projects will have more information.  Thanks to Mr. Page and Mr. Jones for organizing this event!
