Positivity Project (P2) trait of the week: Bravery - how fitting since Friday is Veterans Day! Thank you to all of the Veterans in our Chenango Valley community - thank you for your service!
Events: Here are some upcoming events for the high school:
- 11/10: Deadline to alert our guidance office if you would like to participate in the Holiday Assistance Program, half-day for all students - CV High School will dismiss at 11:20 a.m., end of the 1st quarter
- 11/11: No School: Veterans Day
- 11/14: JV/Varsity Winter sports begin
- 11/15: Presentation: “Strategies to help your anxious child”
- 11/16: BOE Meeting 7 p.m.
- 11/17: Humanities Night
- 11/19: CV Craft Show
Attendance stats: Our average daily attendance for October was 92.4%. My goal is to have our attendance for the 1st quarter at 93% - let’s see if we can get there!
Important Information/Reminders:
- A reminder that the 1st quarter ends on Thursday - please remind your child to have all of their work submitted! Report cards will go home with students on 11/17.
- A reminder that although breakfast is free, lunch is not. I encourage you to fill out a free/reduced meal form. More information can be found here: Free & Reduced Information (esvbeta.com)

I can’t believe we are 10 weeks into school already! November is a wonderful time to practice gratitude and thankfulness. I’m thankful to be a part of this wonderful community! Please let me know if you need anything and have a wonderful week ahead!
