Good morning, CV High School families!
Happy New Year to all of you! I hope everyone had a nice break!
Just a couple of reminders as we go back to school this week:
1. A reminder that school is back in session on Tuesday. I hope everyone is in good health and ready to come back to school! I am -- I had a restful break, but I need structure!
2. Regents exams are coming up at the end of the month. A reminder that these exams are not for all students. Your teacher or school counselor should have reached out if your child needs to take a Regents exam. These will occur during the school day and if your child is taking an exam, they will be excused from classes.
3. Other upcoming events:
- January 16: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
- January 18: Board of Education Meeting - 7:00 p.m.
- January 24-27: Regents Exams
- January 27: End of Quarter 2, Half-day for students (11:20 a.m. dismissal)
- January 28: Junior Dinner Dance - 6:30-10:00 p.m. - Holiday Inn (Tickets will be on sale after break.)
4. Student council will be collecting winter clothes for our clothing closet. If you'd like to donate, please drop off clothing at the security entrance or send in with your child. We have students in need of winter clothes, so please consider donating!
