CV Alumni Receive Recognition and Inspire Future Graduates

Warrior Fund Donation Update: The Chenango Valley Alumni Association (CVAA) is committed to supporting families in the district as part of its mission and recognizes the CV Warrior Fund's significant efforts in furthering this cause. We extend our thanks to the CVAA for their most recent $3,000 donation to the Warrior Fund, a gesture that will greatly assist students and families facing financial hardships. This donation was made possible through funds raised at this year’s recognition awards dinner/auction and through new CVAA memberships. We are deeply grateful for the CVAA's continued care and generosity.

On October 27, Chenango Valley was proud to welcome this year’s CV Alumni Hall of Fame honorees, including two distinguished individuals, in recognition of their noteworthy accomplishments and contributions to the local area.

Honorees of distinction are selected by a Chenango Valley Alumni Association committee through nominations received. If you know someone who would be a great candidate for next year’s event, please nominate them here: https://www.cvcsd.stier.org/NominationForm.aspx

After lunch, the honorees engaged in a districtwide Zoom Q&A with Chenango Valley Superintendent Dr. Larry Dake and had the option to speak in CV Middle and High School classrooms related to their roles.

In the evening, the Chenango Valley Alumni Association hosted yet another great evening recognition dinner and auction event at the Holiday Inn Binghamton Downtown. This annual event showcases the accomplishments of Warriors. Each honoree, surrounded by community members, district staff, past honorees, family, and friends, delivered speeches filled with inspiring and empowering words, as well as fond memories of what has made them proud to be part of the Warrior community.

Proceeds from the CV Alumni Association evening event help to aid both CV’s Warrior Fund (to assist students and families in need) and scholarship opportunities for CV students. This event is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, and the group would like to thank all who helped to make it a success!
