Chenango Bridge Students Enjoy Ag in the Classroom Visitors

May 23 - Fourth Grade - Maple
Fourth-grade students enjoyed a sweet Ag in the Classroom lesson focused on maple syrup production. They learned about how this delicious treat makes its way from the tree to the table, tried Grade A Amber syrup, and received some maple candy!

May 22 - Third Grade - Cranberries
Third-grade students received a captivating Ag in the Classroom lesson on cranberries! Through this opportunity, students learned about the special care and hard work it takes to grow cranberries, and what they can be used for once harvested. Students were also able to sample cranberry juice and craisins. While most loved the tart taste, some were not as big of fans. Either way, it was a fun educational experience for all!

March 17 - Fourth Grade - Sheep
Did you know that one pound of wool can make up to 10 miles of yarn? That’s just one of the interesting facts that fourth grade students learned during Ag in the Classroom lessons on March 17. Students enjoyed their special visitors, Ag in the Classroom program educators and a three-week-old Katahdin sheep named Jasper!

March 13 - Third Grade - Goat

On March 13, third grade students enjoyed special Ag in the Classroom visitors... including a friendly goat! Students loved learning interesting facts about goats through this fun learning opportunity!
