Good evening Port Dickinson Elementary families,

This afternoon, we received a notification from the Port Dickinson Police Department that Chenango Street, between Lincoln Street and the West Service Road, will be closed starting at 7am on Thursday, December 19, and may continue through end of day on Friday, December 20, due to an emergency water main repair.

This repair does not impact water service at Port Dickinson Elementary nor any other services in the building and the school will operate on a normal schedule.

This closure will cause traffic detours around Port Dickinson Elementary and may impact student drop off and pick up.  During this time, detour signs will be in place to direct commuters around the construction.

Additionally, there will be no parking on Phelps Street between Chenango Street and the ramp to the Brandywine Highway (New York State Route 7) during this time.
