Due to a driver shortage at this time, we want to make sure families are aware of some important transportation updates effective as of April 23, 2024:

PM Routes:
  • Until further notice, middle and high school students who ride Bus 208 Wolf will ride Buses 195 Bird and 198 Kangaroo in the afternoon. Drop off may be earlier or later than usual.
  • Until further notice, Port Dickinson and Chenango Bridge Elementary students who ride Bus 208 Wolf will ride Buses 195 Bird and 206 Eagle in the afternoon. Drop off may be earlier or later than usual.
AM Routes:
  • Until further notice, middle and high school students who ride Bus 208 Wolf will ride Buses 195 Bird, 198 Kangaroo, or 197 Butterfly in the morning. Pick up may be earlier or later than usual.
  • Until further notice, Port Dickinson and Chenango Bridge Elementary students who ride Bus 208 Wolf will ride Bus 201 Rooster in the morning. Pick up may be earlier or later than usual.

About the Principal

Mr. Eric E. Attleson

eric attlesonChenango Valley Middle School Principal Eric Attleson joined the Chenango Valley staff as the assistant principal of Chenango Valley High School in 2002. He came from the Binghamton School District, where he was a technology education teacher for 11 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oswego in 1991, his Master of Science in reading education from SUNY Cortland in 1995, and his Administrative Degree in May of 2001.

During his time at Binghamton, Mr. Attleson was heavily involved with the New York State Southern Tier Technology Association, the Broome County Tech Prep Program, the District Computer Technology committee, and various academic and curriculum writing committees.
 
Mr. Attleson has been involved in the creation of the BHS Pre-Engineering Academy, as well as a Satellite School at the Broome County Urban League Technology Center.

Mr. Attleson has been a master trainer for Project Lead the Way and was named Teacher of the Year by the Southern Tier Technology Education Association in 2002. He received the School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS) Region 9 “Secondary Administrator of the Year” Award in 2018.
