Chenango Valley High School's Feats of Clay team achieved their first-ever overall victory at the annual Feats of Clay Competition, held on May 4 in Syracuse. Marking a significant milestone, the team tied with Red Creek for first place out of more than 30 participating schools, a first since CV High School began competing in the competition in 2009.

This success is a testament to the team's dedication and creativity, demonstrated in challenging events such as the Cylinder Stack, Mug Production, and Blindfold Throw.

The trophy will be displayed at Chenango Valley High School for the first half of the upcoming school year. Ceramic work will be added to it before it moves to Red Creek for the remainder of the year.
