Mrs. Hammond joined the Chenango Valley Central School District in September 1995. Prior to working at Chenango Valley, she was employed by Broome-Tioga BOCES, beginning September 1990. Mrs. Hammond has worked as a speech/language therapist, reading teacher and as an administrator during her more than 25 years in the field of education.
Mrs. Hammond has a bachelor of science (BS) degree in Speech Pathology/Audiology from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Science (MS) degree in reading/literacy from SUNY Cortland and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Building/District Level Administration from SUNY Cortland.
Mrs. Hammond has lived in the Chenango Valley Central School District since 1992, residing in Chenango Bridge with her family. Her three children are Chenango Valley graduates: Eric (Class of 2013), Emily (Class of 2015), Kevin (Class of 2017)
Mrs. Hammond is very proud to be an educational leader in this dedicated and supportive school community. She strongly believes in the goal to inspire, engage, and empower our students and staff to be exceptional Chenango Valley Warriors every day.
