CV Summer Programs Provide Opportunities for Growth and Learning

Chenango Valley Summer Programs kicked off with CV Elementary Summer Steam Session 1 and Warrior Academy/Workouts on July 8. This page will be updated throughout the summer with exciting learning experiences and highlights.

Bill Clark, a retired CV teacher and World Champion/Guinness World Record-holding strongman, inspired CV Elementary Summer STEAM program students on July 25 with strength demonstrations and motivational talks. He encouraged them to always give their best and emphasized the importance of positive self-talk. The students appreciated his presentation and encouragement!

BOCES Summer Programs
Broome-Tioga BOCES Summer STEAM Academy

Chenango Valley students entering grades 7-10 had a fantastic time at the Broome-Tioga BOCES Summer STEAM Academy. This engaging two-week program featured a blend of interactive activities and hands-on projects. The students split their time between the Broome-Tioga BOCES campus and SUNY Broome, diving into STEAM subjects through exciting, real-world applications.

BOCES CTE Summer Program
Chenango Valley students entering sixth grade had a great time exploring various Broome-Tioga BOCES CTE programs during this year's summer session, discovering potential future career paths! From masonry to hospitality, there have been lots of exciting things to learn!
