On October 25, Chenango Valley Central School District proudly welcomed back some of its distinguished graduates for a special day filled with recognition and inspiration. This year’s inductees into the Chenango Valley Alumni Hall of Fame returned to their roots to share stories and wisdom with current students.

The day included a Zoom Q&A session with Superintendent Dr. Larry Dake, where the honorees shared insights into their successful careers and life paths. Following this, the alumni were guided by student hosts as they visited classrooms, engaging with current students and sharing motivating experiences. The honorees also had the opportunity to tour the middle/high school building, revisiting familiar hallways and seeing firsthand how the school has evolved over the years.

The celebration continued in the evening at McGirk’s event room, where the Chenango Valley Alumni Association hosted a reception in their honor. Surrounded by community members, district staff, past inductees, family, and friends, the honorees were recognized for their impressive achievements. Proceeds from the event supported the CV Alumni Association’s efforts, including the Warrior Fund for families in need and scholarships for future CV students.
