On November 26, second graders welcomed special guests as part of their social studies unit on urban, suburban, and rural communities. Students enjoyed presentations from Broome County Legislator Erin Micha, Broome County District Attorney Paul Battisti, Julia Flint of Superior Ambulance Service Inc., and Sarah Hadlock of the Broome County Humane Society. The event gave students a chance to learn firsthand about the important roles these individuals play in helping and supporting their community.
