Message from Principal Curry (10-29-21)

Hello Chenango Bridge Families and Students!

I hope that you have all had a fantastic week! Chenango Bridge has had a successful PTA Book Fair, full fifth grade band rehearsals functioning safely in our multi-purpose room, our swim/STEAM program is up at CV Middle School/High School and going strong, students are practicing and developing their skills in all subjects, and our staff is working hard to provide the strongest foundation possible for each and every CB student to succeed.

A few important CB updates...

PTA
Thank you to our PTA for providing our Book Fair at Chenango Bridge Elementary. Students have had opportunities all week long to purchase critical reading materials. Please consider joining our PTA. This is an essential organization to support our students and staff: https://www.cvcsd.stier.org/PTA.aspx

CB Clubs
We are welcoming additional clubs to begin on Monday, November 1. You will hear from your Club Advisor about specifics and a "welcome" into the club. Please reach out to your Club Advisor with questions. We will communicate any changes/cancellations each week. Please be mindful of phone calls and emails.
Mondays: Reading Promise, Talent Show, Science Club, Chess Club.
Thursdays: Book Club, P2, Art Club, Mentoring (Every Other), Yearbook (Every Other).

Food Drive
Our food drive is running until November 8. Please submit your items to the classroom teachers. This is such a critical piece to supporting our families in need. For more information: Click Here

November Family Conferences
November 19 is a half-day of school for elementary students. The afternoon will be conferences with teachers. Please be in touch with teachers to schedule your time. These meetings are crucial in our collaboration to support your child.

No School- November 11th (Veteran's Day) & 12th (Superintendent's Conference Day).

Thank you all for your continuous support for this beautiful building. We are all truly doing this work and supporting our students to achieve their highest goals. Please never hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all.

Have a fantastic weekend- Happy Halloween!
