Chenango Valley Summer Programs 2025
At Chenango Valley, our mission is to inspire, engage, and empower all students to achieve their full potential. This mission expands the ten-month school year. Therefore, with the help of the programs listed below, our district is proud to present FREE opportunities for our students to continue their educational growth throughout the summer.

**Please note that all grades reflected refer to grade levels students will be enrolled in for the 2025-2026 school year.**

Chenango Valley Programs Registration:

BOCES Summer STEAM Program Registration:
**Registration Deadline: Monday, June 2, 2025
Students can be registered through the Guidance Office by calling 607-762-6918.


See below for more information on the programs.

(Students entering Grades 1-6)
Session 1: July 7–17 (Monday–Thursday)
Session 2: July 21–31 (Monday–Thursday)
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Port Dickinson Elementary

  • Hands-on, project-based learning focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Agriculture, and Math).

  • Breakfast and lunch provided.

  • Transportation to and from Port Dickinson Elementary available.

  • Slots filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each student can attend one session. (Sessions 1 and 2 will offer identical experiences.)

(Students entering Grades 7-12)
Dates: July 7 – August 7, 2025 (Monday - Thursday)
Location: CV High School / Weight Room

Session 1: 6:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Intense (Grades 9–12)
Session 2: 8:10 a.m. – 9:35 a.m.
Session 3: 9:45 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.

  • Open to all CV students entering grades 7-12.

  • Strength, conditioning, flexibility, and agility training for all athletes.

  • Integrated UHS Athletic Trainer and UHS Strength and Conditioning Performance Trainer.

Registration Ongoing

(Students entering Kindergarten)
Dates: August 11 - 14, 2025 (Monday - Thursday)
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: Port Dickinson Elementary

  • Get familiar with kindergarten life at Port Dickinson Elementary

  • Includes classroom activities, a bus ride, and tours of areas such as the library, gym, and art room

BOCES Programs

(Students entering Grades 7-10)
Dates: July 14–24, 2025 (Monday–Thursday)
Times: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (BOCES Campus) | 8:15 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (SUNY Broome Campus)

  • Project-based STEAM learning with real-world applications.

  • One week at Broome-Tioga BOCES campus and one week at SUNY Broome campus.

  • Transportation provided from Chenango Valley Middle/High School campus.
