CV Students Shine in Scholastic Art Award Recognitions

March 17, 2024 Update:

On March 17, Chenango Valley proudly celebrated the remarkable talents of 14 CV High School students at the Scholastic Arts and Writing Regional Awards, held at the Clemens Center in Elmira. The event was followed by an opening reception at The Arnot Museum.

Chenango Valley is excited to announce that CV High School students secured four of the eight regional awards at the event!

Matthias Arnot Awards:

Aubrey Staub - "4 Ring Handled Vessel” (Ceramics & Glass)

Nor Kruser - "Ink Well Feather" (Sculpture)

American Visions Awards:
Sophia Bucci Tea Pot

Sophia Bucci - "Tea Pot" (Ceramics & Glass)

Jessica Matson - "Protection" (Drawing & Illustration)

Sophia and Jessica's artwork now advances to the national level for further adjudication. Amazing job!

All student participants demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication. Congratulations to these artists and our art department for another year of outstanding Scholastic Art achievements!
