Congratulations to the seven Chenango Valley indoor track and field athletes who competed in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) championships in Staten Island on March 2, achieving notable placements! Delaney Walters tied for sixth in the high jump with a leap of 5’ 3”. Aisling King placed fifth in the shot put for the New York State Public School Division and sixth in the Federation, which includes both public and private schools, with a throw of 37’ 9.75”. Similarly, Mack Patterson placed fifth in the shot put for the New York State Public School Division and sixth in the Federation with a throw of 54’ 0.75”.
