Chenango Valley High School art teacher Mr. Andrew Fitzsimmons presented a workshop titled “Shop Talk! A Conversation and Demonstration: Sculpting the Human Head through Hybrid Learning” at the November 2021 New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) Conference. Mr. Fitzsimmon’s open forum-style presentation shared information on sculpting the human face and head through the hybrid learning model within a live classroom studio. It focused on ways to create a successful classroom studio where the art creation is emphasized, and student artistic understanding and skills are celebrated. Those who attended the presentation included art teachers, administrators, and college art students.
