It’s always better that children learn the facts about drugs and alcohol from a trusted adult. It’s best to lay the groundwork as early as the preschool years, and add layer upon layer throughout their childhood and into adolescence. By the time they’re a teenager, they will hopefully have strong convictions that will give them strength to resist the temptation to experiment with harmful substances.
