The Chenango Valley Robotics Team participated in the Elmira VEX Competition on January 13. After seven preliminary round matches, they were seeded sixth overall. In the finals, CV won the first match and then faced the #1 seed. While they lost that match, they ended up placing fourth overall!

The team, composed of students in grades 9-12 who build a robot from scratch, works to create a machine capable of performing a specific task, operating both autonomously and under driver control. Designing and building the robot requires many hours, with even more dedicated to redesigning it to enhance its efficiency and robustness.
