On December 1, some local professionals visited second grade classrooms to discuss the vital roles they play in our community. Students enjoyed learning from a representative of the Broome County Humane Society, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from Superior Ambulance, a Port Dickinson Police Officer, and a Broome County Corrections Officer. The presentations from each special guest prompted thoughtful questions from the students.
