The Chenango Valley Student Athletic Club and fall sports teams recently wrapped up their October Valley versus Cancer campaign. Fall teams hosted "Pink Out" games to raise cancer awareness. The Student Athletic Club sold pink shirts, with a portion of proceeds donated to the Lourdes Cancer Unit. In addition, the girls varsity swim program, volleyball program, and cross-country program raised funds to donate. Between all of the donations, the CV Student Athletic Club raised a total of $1,220, which was presented along with other funds to a representative from Lourdes at the Club's last "Pink Out" event, the Cross-Country versus Cancer run.
