Before Veterans Day on November 11, Chenango Bridge Elementary School hosted a special event to honor veterans on November 8. Students had the opportunity to invite family members who have served our country. These guests joined the students during their lunchtimes, engaged in conversations with them, received handcrafted thank-you messages, and were presented with a certificate of appreciation. At each grade level, student leaders gave presentations about the significance of Veterans Day, expressing gratitude to our veterans. The veterans were also invited to participate in recess activities with the students.

In addition, the Chenango Bridge Elementary School dedicated a "Wall of Heroes" in the hallway and set up an "America's White Table" display to honor MIA/POW service members.

Overall, this event was a great opportunity for students to connect with and honor veterans, offering heartfelt thanks for their service to our nation.
