In addition to visiting Chenango Valley Middle School today, MLB pitcher and Class of ’09 graduate Justin Topa “swung” by Mrs. Lusht’s first-grade classroom. Mrs. Lusht is his cousin. He shared his journey to the Major Leagues, students asked him questions, and the class even sang him the song “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”!
