Thanks to a NYSEG educational outreach program initiative, Mr. Cass’ CAD II class is embarking on an exciting project: building osprey nesting boxes to be placed near the Outdoor Learning Center pond! The goal is to have the platform ready before the nesting season begins in March. We’re looking forward to the future possibilities this project will bring for both nature and learning opportunities. We would also like to express our appreciation to Rosanna Hyde from the Vegetation Management Department for delivering the equipment on December 11. Students already started to make great strides in the Outdoor Learning Center that day! Thank you to Mrs. Latimer for helping to make this project possible!
