To further support the Chenango Valley Central School District Transportation Department, we are gathering information regarding families’ plans for transporting their children for the 2023-24 school year. While every Chenango Valley student is currently assigned a seat on our buses, many students do not use Chenango Valley transportation. This results in an inaccurate passenger count that impacts the routing of our students. To help gather a more accurate depiction of the number of busing routes and drivers we need for the next school year, we are asking each family to complete a brief transportation form.
Please Note:
- We will need a response for each of your children attending the Chenango Valley Central School District in the 2023-24 school year.
- This information will be critical in creating efficient routes for the next school year. Our transportation department works diligently on planning routes over the summer. It is very important for us to know if you do not plan on using district-provided transportation.
- This form is not binding. We do understand that circumstances may change over the summer or the course of the school year. We also understand that some families may not yet have their childcare set for the fall. If you need to make a permanent change to this information in the future, you will be able to submit an updated form. This will need to be submitted at least three (3) school days prior to the change. Temporary (daily) changes will continue to follow the same process of sending in a note to the school’s main office and calling the transportation department.
