Chenango Valley High School students were among nearly 600 students from around the region who participated in the "Southern Tier Construction-Technology Career Day" on October 4. Held at the Broome County Highway Department facility, students explored the world of construction careers through hands-on experiences, heavy equipment demos, and discussion with experts in the field.

We extend our thanks to the groups that helped make this day possible, including the New York State Department of Transportation, the Broome County Highway Department, Broome-Tioga Workforce New York, Broome-Tioga BOCES Career Development Center (CDC), and several local companies and trade unions involved in the industry.
