On the evening of February 13, the Chenango Valley Varsity Cheer team returned to the high school from Nationals with quite a special entrance! The team finished 12th in the nation for their Game Day routine at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships. This was a testament to the team’s hard work and talent. Way to go!

The team earned two bids to compete in both the Small Varsity Game Day division and the Small Varsity division at the UCA High School Nationals at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida! The team also advanced to the semifinal round for their Traditional routine.
On February 8, as the team departed from Chenango Valley High School, the halls were filled with applause, with students and staff sharing their well wishes for the journey. This marks the fifth time a team from our program has represented Chenango Valley and Section IV at the national level.
