Since October, when Principal Ms. Carl read all students at Port Dickinson Elementary School the book “Ish,” an exciting project took shape. Inspired by the book's message and the PDE Warrior Pledge, students created “can” cards, contributing to the “We can be brave leaders” gallery displayed in the school’s hallway.

The excitement doesn't stop there! Staff members have been spotting and nominating students who shine with Positivity Project (P2) strengths such as kindness, perseverance, integrity, and leadership. These students get their names up in the school’s gallery and get to call a family member to share their joy and achievement. Their smiles say it all. Port Dickinson is very proud of its students' accomplishments and encourages them to keep up the great work!
