Amir Sadykov Signs National Letter of Intent

Congratulations to Chenango Valley High School Class of 2024 senior, Amir Sadykov, who signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Men’s Swimming and Diving team at Binghamton University! The signing event took place on April 24.

At the event, Coach Frayer of the Chenango Valley High School Varsity Swim team commended Amir for his dedication and accomplishments.

Amir expressed sincere gratitude to all who have supported him in his journey, including his family, friends, and coaches – many of whom were in attendance.

Amir has been a member of the varsity swim team at CV High School for four years. His talents and hard work have led him to qualify twice for the state meet, finishing ninth in the 100 breaststroke in 2023 and achieving outstanding placements in the 50 freestyle (ninth place) and the 100 backstroke (sixth place) in 2024. He holds the school and pool record for the 100 backstroke and has also earned the Southern Tier Athletic Conference record in this event. Additionally, Amir secured the title of Sectional Champion (Class B) in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke in 2024.

Amir plans to major in computer engineering before proceeding to business administration. Chenango Valley wishes him the best of luck in all his future endeavors!
