Chenango Valley Middle School students had an awesome time using their STEAM skills during the 13th (almost) annual Cardboard Boat Race on February 29! Working together in teams, they made vibrant and colorful boats and paddles out of cardboard and duct tape. They studied the basics of boat construction and physics to prepare for the event. Finally, students put their boats to the test to see if they could carry at least one person the length of the pool and back.
