Thank you to New York State Senator Fred Akshar for visiting Mr. Tidick’s Current Events/Local History class on November 4! During his visit, Senator Akshar discussed his background in politics and his role as a senator. He also discussed drug/opioid issues and his thoughts on ways to further combat these issues. In addition, Senator Akshar shared how collaboration with other political leaders can help to benefit the community as a whole.
