Port Dickinson Elementary Explores 'Bravery'
Port Dickinson Elementary students reviewed this week’s “Positivity Project” (P2) trait of “Bravery” with a morning assembly presentation on November 4.

Mrs. Hoyt led the assembly. Mrs. Huyck, Mrs. DeBellis and Mrs. Hart were brave volunteers who looked inside of mystery boxes in the middle of the school's gymnasium. Mrs. Hart found a fork, and Mrs. DeBellis found a plate; but Mrs. Huyck did not find anything in her box.

This led to discussion on helping those who may not always be able to have food on their plates through the school's food drive. Students also showed bravery by singing into a microphone about the food drive.

At the end of the assembly, Mrs. Hoyt encouraged all Port Dickinson students to keep practicing bravery.
