On January 9, Chenango Valley Middle School students learned how being optimistic has helped a local professional to succeed.
Students filled a middle school classroom for this exciting Positivity Project (P2) career presentation. Thank you to Eddie Thomason for visiting and sharing with students how the character strength of “optimism” has helped him to overcome obstacles and gain success as a sales/digital imaging specialist, as well as in life.
During his presentation, Mr. Thomason shared strategies on becoming more optimistic. These included creating a vision for the future you want and surrounding yourself with positive people. Students also had the opportunity to ask Mr. Thomason questions.
As the school year continues, we look forward to having more presenters inspiring students by sharing how the weekly Positivity Project (P2) character strengths have benefited their careers and lives.
