During a “Positivity Project” (P2) morning assembly at Port Dickinson Elementary on October 15, students explored the week’s P2 focus on what it means to demonstrate “Integrity.”
Students watched videos explaining integrity. With the help of Mr. Curry, Mrs. Hammond, Ms. Hall and Mr. Novotny, four Port Dickinson students were also able to help explain integrity to their peers through ethical scenarios. For example, one student was given a scenario where his mom asked him not to eat any of the freshly baked, delicious-smelling chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen. The student’s reply was that he would not eat the cookies... and leave the room to not be tempted.
We hope that students are able to continue displaying demonstrations of integrity with this morning assembly in mind!
