Chenango Valley Middle School students explored the Positivity Project (P2) character strength of "Teamwork" with a fun activity on September 27.
Seventh and eighth grade students split into teams in their classrooms. One partner faced the front of the room looking at a displayed image, while the other partner faced the back of the room. With limited time, the partner facing the picture described it to their teammate and gave directions on how to draw its shape without revealing what the image actually was. Afterwards, the teams enjoyed comparing their drawings with their classmates. Partners switched back and forth between drawing and describing the images throughout the activity.
This showed students the importance of teamwork in the success of completing tasks and goals.
