On December 4, students in Mr. Wilson's advanced drawing and painting classes visited the Broome County Humane Society to get to know the shelter’s animals better. They also each took photos of animals and will turn one of those photos into a stylized piece of art as part of a school project. When they are complete, the students will present their finished art projects as a way to raise awareness for the shelter and its animals available for adoption.

While visiting, some of our Chenango Valley students also brought in donations such as food and toys to contribute to the shelter.

We are proud of our Warriors for the recent Positivity Project character traits of “Gratitude” and “Kindness” they are showing through this project. Stay tuned to see their final pieces!
