Representatives from the Port Dickinson Fire Department visited students at Port Dickinson Elementary School on December 11 to review important information on fire safety and prevention.
During the presentation, PD Fire Chief Michael Scott encouraged students to have fire drills at home to establish a plan for what to do in case of an emergency. He reminded them to never hide in the event of a fire.
Chief Scott also did a demonstration of the “stop, drop and roll” fire safety technique.
