Chenango Valley High School junior Erin McCollough accepted a first place award in the “Country Style, the Rural Architecture of Broome and Tioga County” juried digital photography exhibition. The exhibition was sponsored by the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (PAST). Erin’s photo of a Broome County barn was submitted by her art teacher, Mr. Matthew Wilson.

All of the exhibition's submitted photos were displayed at the Artisan Gallery, located at 95 Court Street in Binghamton, during the December 7 First Friday Art Walk. A catered pre-opening event for all participants, their guests, judges and sponsors also took place at the venue. Erin was awarded a cash prize for her entry. Prizes were awarded in three age categories for both counties.

Photos will continue to be on display at the Artisan Gallery throughout the month of December.

Congratulations and awesome job, Erin!
